Dr Ann Ozsivadjian
I am a clinical psychologist with expertise in autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental conditions. I specialise in children and families, and also work with young adults. I have a particular interest in mental health difficulties that occur in the context of an autism spectrum disorder. I treat a range of problems including anxiety and depression, low self-esteem, sleep and feeding difficulties, and challenging behaviour. I also provide support and liaison for parents who are navigating the education system. As my training is generic, I also have the skills to assess and treat children and young people with emotional or behavioural problems who have only features of ASD, or indeed those with no features of ASD at all.
I have substantial experience in the differential presentation of girls and young women on the spectrum, and also extreme demand avoidance presentations.
